In his private capacity, he has been involved with the South African Government for quite some time and participated and supervised in the creation of the first Technology Textile Art school in Cape Town. He was involved in these projects in a consultancy capacity as well as a final year examiner.
Mr. Bovetti has utilized his 30 years of business acumen and extensive knowledge of Italian expertise and the requirement of the African continent for the creation of Joint Ventures trading between Italy -South Africa with a special focus on systems specifically designed to reduce and eradicate the transmission of infectious medical disease, especially to children. Capitalizing on this knowledge and in partnership with Mr Stefano Lepore, he established an export-import Company which has subsequently been restructured with very high-profile BEE Partners from the medical field – Alloro Africa Enviro Services (Pty) Ltd.

Late in 1998, it was Head hunted by International Companies to market and distribute their products to a large network of retailers.
In view of the above at the beginning of 1999, jointly with 4 other partners, he formed a trading commercial Company operating in the North-East part of Italy. At the point of his departure to Brazil, in mid-2005, this company was representing 10 different European Manufacturers and had a Portfolio of an excess of 500 active clients with a turnover in excess of 7 million Euro per year.
At the beginning of 2005 he was contacted by a group of Italian companies to open the South-American market within the property, food, ecological lighting system and the medical sector with particular attention to the treatment “in loco” of infectious and/or potentially infectious medical waste.
In 2011, after succeeding in opening and establishing the above-mentioned market, he was engaged by the same manufacturer to explore and established the same market opportunities in Southern Africa.
In partnership with Mr Giancarlo Bovetti, he purchase exclusive imports and distribution rights and he formed and registered in South Africa as an Import-Export Company. Subsequently, the Medical export and distribution rights were sold to a new company “Alloro Africa enviro Services (Pty) Ltd “ of which with another 4 high-profile directors he retained shares, directorship and management.
